With COVID-19 present, our student ministry looks a little different these days. But Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers are a vital part of our congregation! We thrive on weekly moments with the next generation.
After school on Wednesdays, students drift in to Westminster for CHILL-30. During this time, students shoot hoops, bust out a board-game, skateboard in our parking lot, play our X-box, work on homework, or jump into a group game together (often Ga-Ga ball, dodgeball, capture-the-flag, etc).
At 5:00pm we begin REFUEL, a more structured time for youth to eat dinner, engage in a devo, meet in age-specific LifeGroups, worship, and play a few more group games. Pick-up is at 6:30PM.
On Sunday mornings, we host ALL-IN, designed for students to BE the church. Each student chooses an area of the church to serve (i.e. greeting, playing music with the worship team, helping with Kidventure, or using other God-given gifts to serve). Arrive at 9:00am and expect to huddle up somewhere inside with a couple of youth volunteers. During the huddle, students will typically grab a donut, check-in for a few over their week, and then break out into their areas of service until worship at 10am.
We also thrive on large adventures with our students. The trips below will be linked to registration pages as available for your students to sign up:
(June 10-19) High School Mission Trip to Puerto Rico: REGISTER HERE!
(July 26-30) High School Backpacking Trip with Westminster Backcountry
