COVID-19 UPDATE: Our student ministry still looks a little different at the moment. Even when the world stops, student ministry doesn't. The next generation is so important to us, so we're doing a whole lot of virtual connecting (phone calls, zoom, social-media, etc.) with our youth. If you'd like to learn more, please contact our Pastor for Discipleship, Andrew Bellisle (email@example.com). And feel free to read below for how our typical student ministry looks:
Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers are a vital part of our congregation! We gather together on Sundays and Wednesdays with devoted volunteers and parents as we get to know Jesus Christ and his plan for our lives...and have a blast doing so!
On Wednesdays during the school year, students can come over right after school, for a time that we call "CHILL-30," and can hang in our youth lounge, grab snacks, play games, and simply veg.
From 5:30-7:00 p.m., we host our mid-week youth program called "REFUEL." During this time, students will eat dinner, play group games, sing some worship songs, hear a quick lesson, and have time to discuss it with their friends.
On Sunday mornings, we have Middle School and High School LifeGroups that meet from 8:45-9:45 a.m. right before Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. This time provides an even deeper dive into scriptures and allows students to take their faith one step further on the maturity scale.
